Services
Everything we build, run and secure.
Five practices, one delivery team. From a first prototype to the platform running your business — designed, built, hosted and supported end to end.
No discovery fee for the first conversation.
What an end-to-end IT partner actually means
Most technology problems don't respect org charts. A slow checkout is part front-end, part database, part infrastructure, and often part carrier. When each piece belongs to a different vendor, the gaps between them become your problem to manage.
HostMentor covers the whole path: the software that gets built, the infrastructure it runs on, the data it produces, the security around it, and the messages it sends to your customers. One team, one contract, one escalation path.
We deliver from India, which keeps engineering cost sane without putting a timezone wall between you and the people writing the code.
Five practices, one delivery team
Engage one of them or all of them. The same engineers, project leads and support desk sit behind every line below.
Engineering
Design, build and ship software your business runs on.
AI & Data
Turn data into decisions and repetitive work into automation.
Cloud & Infrastructure
Move to the cloud, then run it reliably and affordably.
Cloud & Infrastructure overviewSecurity & Advisory
Keep systems safe, compliant and properly staffed.
Communication
Reach customers on every channel through one API.
- Communication Platform
- Messaging Platform
- Bulk SMS
- WhatsApp Business API
- RCS Business Messaging
- Voice Services
- Email Marketing
- SMSC
- USSD Gateway
How you can engage us
Three commercial shapes. Most clients start with the first and move to the second once the roadmap gets long.
Fixed-scope project
A defined outcome with a defined price. We scope it properly first, then build to that scope with weekly demos and a fixed delivery date.
- Best for
- Clear requirements, a hard deadline, or a first engagement where you want to test how we work.
- Commercials
- Fixed price, milestone billing
Dedicated team
A named squad — engineers, a lead, QA and design as needed — working only on your roadmap. You set priorities sprint by sprint; we handle hiring, cover and continuity.
- Best for
- An evolving product, or when scope will change faster than a fixed contract can be renegotiated.
- Commercials
- Monthly per person, 30-day notice
Managed service
We take operational ownership of something already running — infrastructure, an application, a messaging pipeline — against an agreed SLA.
- Best for
- Systems that must stay up when you don't want to staff a 24/7 rota for them.
- Commercials
- Monthly retainer against an SLA
How the work actually runs
The same four stages regardless of which practice you engage. No stage is skipped, and you can stop after any of them.
Scope
A working session to understand the problem, what already exists, and what success looks like in numbers. You leave with a written scope, an approach and a cost range — free, and yours to keep whether or not you hire us.
Design
Architecture, data model, interfaces and the integration points that usually cause trouble later. For anything user-facing, clickable prototypes before a line of production code.
Build
Two-week iterations, a working demo at the end of each, and a staging environment you can use from week one. Code review, automated tests and CI are part of the work, not an upsell.
Run
Deployment, monitoring, backups and an agreed support window. Most clients keep us on a managed retainer; some take everything in-house — either way you get the source, the runbooks and the credentials.
Why clients consolidate with us
The practical arguments, not the poster on the wall.
One accountable team
When the app, the server and the SMS gateway are all ours, nobody gets to blame the other vendor. Root cause is our job, not yours to referee.
You own everything
Source code, infrastructure accounts, domains and data are yours from day one, in your accounts where possible. No hostage architecture.
Senior people on the work
The engineer who scoped it is on the build. We don't sell a principal and staff a trainee.
Honest scoping
If off-the-shelf software solves it for a tenth of the price, we'll tell you and point you at it. Long-term clients are worth more than one oversized project.
Infrastructure we actually operate
We've run production hosting for years — the cloud advice comes from actually operating systems under load, not from a partner-badge slide.
Compliance built in
GDPR for personal data, regional messaging rules and sector requirements are handled as part of delivery rather than discovered at audit.
FAQ
Working with us
Do I have to buy everything from you?
No. Most clients start with one service — a website, an app, a migration, an SMS integration — and add more only when it makes sense. There's no bundle requirement and no minimum spend across practices.
How do you price work?
Fixed-scope projects are quoted as a fixed price after a free scoping session. Dedicated teams are billed monthly per person. Managed services are a monthly retainer tied to an SLA. You'll always see the shape of the number before you commit to a discovery process.
What size of client do you work with?
From founders replacing a spreadsheet to enterprises running regulated workloads. The engagement model changes with size — a fixed-scope project for the former, a dedicated team or managed service for the latter — but the delivery process is the same.
Who owns the code and the infrastructure?
You do, from the first commit. Repositories, cloud accounts, domains and data are in your name wherever the vendor allows it, and we hand over runbooks and credentials as a matter of course rather than on request.
Can you take over a project someone else started?
Often, yes. We start with a paid technical audit — what's there, what's salvageable, what it will cost to finish versus rebuild — and give you the honest answer before you commit to either path.
Where are you based?
Our delivery team is in India and we work with clients across India, the Gulf, the UK and North America. Working hours overlap with both European and US-East mornings.
Start with a conversation, not a contract
Tell us the problem. We'll come back with an approach, a rough cost, and an honest view of whether we're the right people for it.
